Speck Candyshell Grip Case

The Speck Candyshell Grip case is certified to meet or exceed MIL-STD-810G drop test standards for military-grad protection.  The case has raised bezels to protect the screen from impact.  For those that like to keep place your phone screen down, this will keep the screen off of surface and protect it from damage and scratches.  The volume and power buttons are covered, but they buttons are still very responsive.  The back of the case has raised rubber ridges to provide protection and grip.

The case does add a lot of bulk, but it does offer a lot of protection.  This is probably too much bulk for me, but it is great a great case for teenage kids or someone looking for a lot of protect that doesn't mind the extra bulk.  The raised ridges on the back do offered a lot of grip and the case feels good in your hand.  All of the cutout are perfect for the microphones, charging port, headphone jack, and fingerprint sensor.  This case for the Nexus 5x cost $34.95, which is one of the more expensive cases, but in my opinion, it is worth it for what you get.  It is a well built case, provides protections, and looks good.  You can find your case here:  http://www.speckproducts.com

Lots of grip
Lots of protection
